SABIC M40060S HDPE Unimodal Resin
SABIC M40060S is a unimodal high density polyethylene (HDPE) resin with a very high melt flow rate, designed for high speed injection molding of large thin-walled parts.
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured by ASTM D1505, it’s 0.960 g/cc. This density affects the material’s properties and its suitability for injection – molded products.
- ESCR 100% Igepal®: Based on compression – molded sheet, tested by ASTM D1693B with F50, it’s 6.0 hours, indicating its stress – crack resistance in a 100% Igepal® solution.
- ESCR 10% Igepal®: Tested by F50; ASTM D1693B, it’s 3.0 hours, offering more insights into its performance in a 10% Igepal® solution.
- Melt Flow: Measured by ASTM D1238 at 4.0 g/10 min @Load 2.16 kg, 190 °C. It impacts the injection – molding process and product quality.
