QAPCO Lotrene Q1018H LLDPE Resin
QAPCO Lotrene Q1018H is a linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) resin produced by QAPCO (Qatar Petrochemical Company).
Physical Properties
- Specific Gravity: Measured by ASTM D792, it’s 0.918 g/cc (0.918 g/cc). This density influences the resin’s weight and strength ratio, suitable for lightweight, durable film applications.
- Thickness: At 40.0 microns (1.57 mil), it’s optimized for blown films. It balances flexibility for shaping and durability for product protection.
- Melt Flow: Tested at 2.16 kg/190 °C per ASTM D1238, the melt flow is 1.0 g/10 min. This rate ensures good processability during film manufacturing.
- Antiblock Level: With an antiblock level of 3200 ppm, it prevents film self – adhesion. This is crucial for continuous – roll packaging operations.
- Slip Level: The slip level of 1500 ppm (Erucamide) reduces friction between film layers. It eases handling during production and use.
Polymer Properties:
- Base Material: Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE)
