QAPCO Lotrene Q1018N LLDPE Resin
QAPCO Lotrene Q1018N is a linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) resin containing thermal stabilizers, made by QAPCO Lotrene.
Physical Properties
- Specific Gravity: As per ASTM D792, the specific gravity is 0.918 g/cc (0.918 g/cc). It contributes to the resin’s overall properties, affecting film stiffness and flexibility in blown film applications.
- Thickness: The 40.0 – micron (1.57 – mil) thickness is designed for blown films. It offers a balance between conformability and durability for packaging.
- Melt Flow: Measured at 2.16 kg/190 °C following ASTM D1238, the melt flow is 1.0 g/10 min. This ensures consistent film quality during manufacturing.
- Antiblock Level: With an antiblock level of 0.000 ppm, the film may stick more. But it can be cost – effective in some applications.
- Slip Level: At 0.000 ppm, the lack of slip agents can be useful in applications where higher friction between layers is desired.
