Chevron Phillips Marlex 5755 LDPE Resin
Chevron Phillips Marlex 5755 is a low density polyethylene (LDPE) for blown film, featuring superb optics for retail, labeling, and agricultural applications.
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured in accordance with ASTM D1505 standard, the density is 0.925 g/cc (0.0334 lb/in³).
- Water Vapor Transmission: Determined via ASTM F1249 standard, the water vapor transmission rate is 15.5 g/m²/day (0.998 g/100 in²/day).
- Oxygen Transmission Rate: Tested per ASTM D3985 standard, the oxygen transmission rate is 6000 cc/m²/day (386 cc/100 in²/day).
- Melt Flow: As per ASTM D1238 standard, at a temperature of 190 °C (374 °F) under a load of 2.16 kg (4.76 lb), the melt flow rate is 0.80 g/10 min.
- Antiblock Level: The concentration of antiblock additive is 3000 ppm.
