COVESTRO BAYBLEND W85 XF PC/ABS Resin
Covestro Bayblend W85 XF is a PC/ASA blend with improved weather resistance and excellent low-temperature ductility.
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured using injection-molded samples in accordance with ISO 1183, the density is 1.16 g/cc (0.0419 lb/in³).
- Moisture Absorption: Determined by ISO 62, the moisture absorption at equilibrium is 0.20%, and the water absorption at saturation is 0.50%.
- Viscosity: At 260°C and a frequency of 1000 Hz, the viscosity is 225,000 cP (ISO 1133).
- Linear Mold Shrinkage (Flow/Transverse): For 150x105x3 mm injection-molded plaques at 260°C/mold temperature 80°C, the linear mold shrinkage is 0.0055–0.0075 cm/cm (0.0055–0.0075 in/in) as per ISO 2577.
- Melt Flow: As per ISO 1133, at 260°C under a load of 5.00 kg, the melt flow rate is 31 g/10 min.
