COVESTRO BAYBLEND FR3010 HF PC/ABS Resin

Covestro Bayblend FR3010 HF is a flame-retardant, high-flow PC/ABS blend, specifically engineered to meet stringent safety and performance requirements.

Physical Properties

  • Density: Measured using injection-molded samples in accordance with ISO 1183-1, the density is 1.18 g/cc (0.0426 lb/in³).
  • Moisture Absorption at Equilibrium: Determined at 50% RH according to ISO 62, the moisture absorption at equilibrium is 0.20 %.
  • Water Absorption at Saturation: Tested for saturated samples per ISO 62, the water absorption at saturation is 0.50 %.
  • Linear Mold Shrinkage, Flow/Transverse: For a 3.00 mm thickness sample per ISO 2577, the linear mold shrinkage in flow and transverse directions is 0.0050–0.0070 cm/cm.
  • Melt Flow: As per ISO 1133, at a temperature of 240°C under a load of 5.00 kg, the melt flow rate is 29.5 g/10 min.
  • Spiral Flow: Tested under conditions of 260°C/80°C with a 2×8 mm profile (Bayer method), the spiral flow length is 40.0 cm (15.7 in).
