COVESTRO BAYBLEND FR3200 PC/ABS Resin
Covestro Bayblend FR3200 is a flame-retardant blend of polycarbonate (PC) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) that combines good rigidity, heat resistance, and excellent toughness.
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured using injection-molded samples in accordance with ISO 1183-1, the density is 1.195 g/cc (0.04317 lb/in³).
- Linear Mold Shrinkage, Flow/Transverse: For a 3.00 mm thickness sample at 240°C/80°C per ISO 2577, the linear mold shrinkage in flow and transverse directions is 0.0050 cm/cm.
- Melt Flow: As per ISO 1133, at a temperature of 240°C under a load of 5.00 kg, the melt flow rate is 37.05 g/10 min.

- Flame retardant with UL 94 V-0 at 1.2 mm for thin-wall applications.
- Easy flowing for high gloss finishes via RHCM process.
