Envalior Durethan AKV 15 FN000 PA66 Resin
Envalior Durethan AKV 15 FN000 is a 12% glass-reinforced, halogen-free flame-retardant PA66 for safety-critical automotive, electronics, and industrial applications.
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured per ISO 1183, density is 1.275 g/cc (0.04606 lb/in³), with 12% glass fibers and halogen-free flame retardancy (UL94 V-0).
- Moisture Absorption at Equilibrium: At 50% RH per ISO 62, moisture absorption is 1.8 %, balanced for electrical and structural applications.
- Water Absorption at Saturation: Per ISO 62, water absorption is 5.5 %, lower than unfilled grades due to flame retardant additives.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage (Flow): At 270°C/80°C per ISO 294-4, flow shrinkage is 0.0060 cm/cm (0.0060 in/in), suitable for medium-precision molding.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage (Transverse): At 270°C/80°C per ISO 294-4, transverse shrinkage is 0.010 cm/cm (0.010 in/in), typical for low-to-medium fiber loadings.
- Melt Flow: As per ISO 1133-1, the melt flow rate is 25 g/10 min at 270°C (518°F) under a load of 2.16 kg (4.76 lb).
