Physical Properties

• Density: According to ISO 1183, density is 1.60 g/cc (0.0578 lb/in³), with 25% glass fibers and flame retardants (UL94 V-0/5VA).
• Moisture Absorption at Equilibrium: At 50% RH per ISO 62, moisture absorption is 1.2 %, reduced by flame retardant fillers.
• Water Absorption at Saturation: Per ISO 62, water absorption is 3.9 %, the lowest in the Durethan series due to filler dominance.
• Linear Mold Shrinkage (Flow): At 280°C/80°C per ISO 294-4, flow shrinkage is 0.0040 cm/cm (0.0040 in/in), excellent for high-precision parts.
• Linear Mold Shrinkage (Transverse): At 280°C/80°C per ISO 294-4, transverse shrinkage is 0.0070 cm/cm (0.0070 in/in), showing balanced shrinkage for flame-retardant grades.
