Physical Properties

• Density: Measured in accordance with ISO 1183, the density of injection-molded samples is 1040 kg/m³.
• Melt Flow: Determined by ISO 1133 at 220 °C (428 °F) under a 10 kg (22 lb) load, the melt flow rate is 10 g/10 min.

Polymer Properties:

Applications:

Given its properties—especially its matte finish and high toughness—ABSOLAC® XT04 M is widely used in applications where both aesthetics and durability are important.

• Automotive Interior and Exterior Trim: The matte finish is highly desirable for automotive dashboards, door panels, and other interior trim to reduce glare and provide a high-quality feel. 
• Luggage Shells: The material’s high impact strength and resistance to cracking make it an excellent choice for luggage shells and other travel accessories that must withstand rough handling. 
• Appliances and Electronic Housings: The extruded sheets can be used to thermoform large appliance parts and electronic housings, such as refrigerator door liners and vacuum cleaner bodies.
• Sheets for General-Purpose Use: The extruded sheets are used for a variety of applications, from point-of-sale displays to machine guards, where a durable, non-reflective surface is needed.
