Celanese Zytel 103HSL PA66 Resin
Celanese Zytel 103HSL is a heat-stabilized, lubricated, unreinforced polyamide 66 (PA66) resin designed for injection molding.
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured via ISO 1183 for injection-molded samples, the density is 1.14 g/cc (0.0412 lb/in³).
- Melt Density: At a temperature of 290 °C (554 °F), the melt density is 0.980 g/cc (0.0354 lb/in³).
- Water Absorption: At 2.00 mm thickness, water absorption is 8.5% (DAM; sim. to ISO 62), with 1.2% absorption after 24-hour immersion (3.00 mm thickness).
- Moisture Absorption: At 2.00 mm (0.0787 in) thickness: 2.60% (DAM; sim. to ISO 62).
- Viscosity Number: Determined with 96% sulfuric acid per ISO 307, 1157, 1628: 150 cm³/g (1.50 dl/g).
- Linear Mold Shrinkage: For injection-molded plaques, the linear mold shrinkage (flow/transverse) is 0.013 cm/cm (0.013 in/in) per ISO 294-4.
Polymer Properties:
- Base Material: Polyamide 66 (PA66)
