Celanese Zytel FR70M30V0 PA66 Resin is a polyamide 66 (PA66) thermoplastic specifically designed for injection molding.
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured using injection-molded samples in accordance with DAM and ISO 1183, the density is 1.62 g/cc (0.0585 lb/in³).
- Melt Density: At a temperature of 290 °C (554 °F), the melt density is 1.40 g/cc (0.0506 lb/in³).
- Water Absorption: At 2.00 mm (0.0787 in) thickness, water absorption is 4.0% (DAM; sim. to ISO 62).
- Moisture Absorption: At 2.00 mm (0.0787 in) thickness, moisture absorption is 1.30% (DAM; sim. to ISO 62).
- Linear Mold Shrinkage: For injection-molded plaques, the linear mold shrinkage (flow/transverse) is 0.010 cm/cm (0.010 in/in) per DAM and ISO 294-4, 2577.
