SABIC 8620 Short Glass Modified PP Resin
SABIC 8620 Short Glass Modified PP is a short glass fiber reinforced polypropylene (PP) polymer produced by SABIC (Saudi Basic Industries Corporation).
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured using injection-molded samples in accordance with ISO 527-1A and ISO 1183, the density is 1.03 g/cc (0.0372 lb/in³).
- Filler Content: Determined by the SABIC method, the filler content is 18%.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage: For injection-molded plaques (65x65x3.2mm) using the SABIC method, the linear mold shrinkage is 0.0070 cm/cm (0.0070 in/in).
- Melt Flow: As per ISO 1133, at a temperature of 230 °C (446 °F) under a load of 2.16 kg (4.76 lb), the melt flow rate is 23 g/10 min.
