DuPont Zytel 70G25HSL is a 25% glass fiber reinforced and heat – stabilized polyamide 66 from DuPont,designed for demanding applications.
Physical Properties
- Density: The density of the material is 1.33 g/cc (0.0480 lb/in³). This value is measured under the DAM condition in accordance with the ISO 1183 standard.
- Water Absorption: At a thickness of 2.00 mm (0.0787 in), the water absorption rate is 6.4 %. The measurement is carried out in the DAM condition following a method similar to ISO 62.
- Moisture Absorption: When the thickness is 2.00 mm (0.0787 in), the moisture absorption is 2.00 %. This measurement is done in the DAM condition, using a method similar to ISO 62.
- Viscosity Number: The viscosity number of the material is 150 cm³/g (1.50 dl/g). It is measured in the DAM condition as per ISO 307, 1157, and 1628 standards.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage, Flow: In the flow direction, the linear mold shrinkage is 0.0030 cm/cm (0.0030 in/in). The measurement is made in the DAM condition, following the ISO 294 – 4 and 2577 standards.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage, Transverse: The linear mold shrinkage in the transverse direction is 0.011 cm/cm (0.011 in/in). This is measured in the DAM condition, in line with ISO 294 – 4 and 2577.
