TARFLON™ URC2500, manufactured by Idemitsu Kosan, is a highly reflective, flame-retardant polycarbonate (PC) grade designed for specialized applications.

Physical Properties

  • Density: Determined by ISO 1183 (JIS K7112), density is 1.28 g/cc (0.0462 lb/in³), a key parameter for mass-to-volume ratio in material specification.
  • Linear Mold Shrinkage: Measured via Idemitsu Method, flow and transverse shrinkage both range 0.0050–0.0070 cm/cm (0.0050–0.0070 in/in).
  • Melt Flow: Per ISO 1133, melt flow rate is 35.84 g/10 min at 300°C/1.20 kg, showing excellent processability for high-flow uses.
