Mitsubishi Iupilon ELV 2030 is a polycarbonate (PC) with 15% filler, a wear – resistance improved grade, produced by Mitsubishi.

Physical Properties

  • Density: Determined by ISO 1183, the density is 1.30 g/cc (0.0470 lb/in³), a key metric for evaluating mass-to-volume ratio in material characterization.
  • Water Absorption: At 23.0°C (73.4°F) via immersion, water absorption is 0.10%, indicating minimal moisture uptake and high dimensional stability.
  • Linear Mold Shrinkage: At 3.20 mm (0.126 in) thickness, flow shrinkage ranges 0.0050–0.0070 cm/cm (in/in), and transverse shrinkage ranges the same.
  • Melt Flow: Per ISO 1133, melt flow rate is 9.1 g/10 min at 300°C under 1.20 kg load, showing good processability for extrusion and molding.
