Borealis FT6236 is a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) resin specifically designed for high-speed extrusion coating and lamination.
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured in accordance with ISO 1183 – 1 standard using injection – molded samples, the density is 0.923 g/cc (0.0333 lb/in³).
- Melt Flow: As per ISO 1133 – 1 standards, at a load of 2.16 kg (4.76 lb) and a temperature of 190 °C (374 °F), the melt flow rate is 2.00 g/10 min.
- Antiblock Level: The antiblock level is 800 ppm.
- Slip Level: The slip level is 550 ppm.
- Storage Temperature: The storage temperature should be ≤ 50.0 °C (≤ 122 °F).
