SABIC G3230X Short Glass Modified PP Resin

Physical Properties

• Density: Measured using injection – molded samples in line with ISO 527 – 1A and ISO 1183, the density is 1.12 g/cc (0.0405 lb/in³).
• Filler Content: Measured by the SABIC method, the filler content is 30 %.
• Linear Mold Shrinkage: Measured on a 65x65x3.2mm injection – molded plaque by the SABIC method, it is 0.0060 cm/cm (0.0060 in/in).
• Melt Flow: Tested according to ISO 1133, at a load of 2.16 kg and 230 °C (446 °F), the melt flow is 12 g/10 min.

Polymer Properties:

3. Modification Features:
   
   • 30% glass fiber for high strength and rigidity
   • Chemically – coupled fibers for strong matrix bonding
   • Ultra – high heat resistance for under – hood use

3. Aerospace (Potential): Considered for components that require lightweight yet heat – resistant materials, such as certain engine – adjacent parts.
