SABIC G3230X Short Glass Modified PP Resin
SABIC G3230X Short Glass Modified PP is a 30% short glass fiber reinforced polypropylene (PP) polymer produced by SABIC (Saudi Basic Industries Corporation).
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured using injection – molded samples in line with ISO 527 – 1A and ISO 1183, the density is 1.12 g/cc (0.0405 lb/in³).
- Filler Content: Measured by the SABIC method, the filler content is 30 %.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage: Measured on a 65x65x3.2mm injection – molded plaque by the SABIC method, it is 0.0060 cm/cm (0.0060 in/in).
- Melt Flow: Tested according to ISO 1133, at a load of 2.16 kg and 230 °C (446 °F), the melt flow is 12 g/10 min.
