DUPONT Delrin 510MP is a POM by DuPont, with 10% Teflon micropowder for low friction and wear in various industries.

Physical Properties

  • Density: Determined by the ASTM D792 standard, it is 1.48 g/cc (0.0535 lb/in³), useful for comparing with other materials in terms of density.
  • Linear Mold Shrinkage: At 3.20 mm thickness, it ranges from 0.017 – 0.020 cm/cm in 24 hr (ASTM D955), affecting the accuracy of molded parts.
  • Linear Mold Shrinkage, Transverse: At 3.20 mm thickness, it ranges from 0.017 – 0.020 cm/cm in 24 hr (ASTM D792), which is important for the transverse dimensional accuracy of products.
  • Melt Flow: At 190°C with a 1.05 kg load, it is 5.0 g/10 min (ASTM D1238), reflecting its melt – state flow characteristics.
