BASF Ultraform N2644 Z9 POM Resin

BASF Ultraform N2644 Z9 POM + PUR is an elastomer – modified injection molding grade known for its low modulus and good acoustic damping.

Physical Properties

  • Bulk Density: Measured values show that the bulk density of this material ranges from 0.650 – 0.850 g/cc (0.0235 – 0.0307 lb/in³). 
  • Density: According to the ISO 1183 standard, the density of the material is 1.27 g/cc (0.0459 lb/in³).
  • Water Absorption: Based on the ISO 62 standard, the water absorption of this material is 0.50%. 
  • Moisture Absorption at Equilibrium: As per the ISO 62 standard, the moisture absorption at equilibrium is 0.20%. 
  • Linear Mold Shrinkage, Flow: Measured following the ISO 2577 standard, the linear mold shrinkage in the flow direction is 0.012 cm/cm (0.012 in/in). 
  • Linear Mold Shrinkage, Transverse: According to the ISO 2577 standard, the linear mold shrinkage in the transverse direction is 0.0148 cm/cm (0.0148 in/in). 
  • Melt Flow: Tested in accordance with the ISO 1133 standard, at a temperature of 190 °C (374 °F) under a load of 2.16 kg (4.76 lb), the melt flow rate is 15.24 g/10 min.
