Celanese Zytel 101F PA66 Resin
Celanese Zytel 101F PA66 is an unfilled, internally lubricated polyamide 66 (Nylon 66) resin.
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured using injection-molded samples in accordance with ISO 1183, the density is 1.14 g/cc (0.0412 lb/in³).
- Melt Density: At a temperature of 290 °C (554 °F), the melt density is 0.970 g/cc (0.0350 lb/in³).
- Water Absorption: For a thickness of 2.00 mm (0.0787 in), water absorption is 8.5% (DAM; simulated to ISO 62).
- Moisture Absorption: At a thickness of 2.00 mm (0.0787 in), moisture absorption is 2.60% (DAM; simulated to ISO 62).
- Viscosity Number: Determined by DAM and ISO 307, 1157, 1628 standards, the viscosity number is 150 cm³/g (1.50 dl/g).
- Linear Mold Shrinkage (Flow): Per ISO 294-4/2577, injection-molded plaques have 0.014 cm/cm linear mold shrinkage and 0.0020 cm/cm post-molding shrinkage at 80°C/48h.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage (Transverse):Per ISO 294-4/2577, linear mold shrinkage is 0.014 cm/cm; post-molding shrinkage at 80°C/48h is 0.0010 cm/cm.
