Physical Properties

• Specific Gravity: Measured per ASTM D792, the specific gravity is 1.20 g/cc (1.20 g/cc) with two identical test entries following the standard.
• Density: As per ASTM D792, the density is 1.19 g/cc (0.0430 lb/in³) determined through the specified test method.
• Water Absorption: After 24 hours per ASTM D570, water absorption is 0.15% (0.15%) reflecting moisture uptake under immersion.
• Moisture Absorption at Equilibrium: At equilibrium (ASTM D570), moisture absorption is 0.35%; at 100°C (212°F), it increases to 0.58% per the standard.
• Linear Mold Shrinkage, Flow: By SABIC method for 3.20 mm (0.126 in) thickness, linear shrinkage (flow) is 0.0050–0.0070 cm/cm (0.0050–0.0070 in/in).
• Melt Flow: Per ASTM D1238, melt flow rate is 17.5 g/10 min under 1.20 kg (2.65 lb) load at 300°C (572°F) for processability assessment.
