DUPONT DELRIN 127UV POM Resin
DUPONT Delrin 127UV is a UV – stabilized, high – viscosity POM by DuPont, offering sunlight resistance and good processing properties for outdoor uses.
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured according to the ISO 1183 standard, the 1.42 g/cc (0.0513 lb/in³) density is a basic parameter for material selection in various applications.
- Water Absorption: Absorbing 0.50 % in 86400 seconds and 1.2 % at 2.00 mm thickness (Sim. to ISO 62), it affects product performance in humid environments.
- Moisture Absorption: At 2.00 mm thickness, the 0.300 % moisture absorption influences the electrical and mechanical properties of the material.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage: Measured by ISO 294 – 4 and 2577, it is 0.021 cm/cm in the flow direction and 0.019 cm/cm transversely, important for mold design accuracy.
- Melt Flow: Measured by ISO 1133 at 190 °C under a 2.16 kg load, the melt flow rates are 1.9 g/10 min (in cm3/10 min) and 2.4 g/10 min.
