SABIC 15T1020 Short Glass Modified PP Resin
SABIC 15T1020 is a 20% talc – filled polypropylene (PP) homopolymer produced by SABIC (Saudi Basic Industries Corporation).
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured using injection – molded samples in accordance with ISO 527 – 1A and ISO 1183, the density is 1.04 g/cc (0.0376 lb/in³).
- Filler Content: Measured by the SABIC method, the filler content is 20 %.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage: Measured on a 65x65x3.2mm injection – molded plaque by the SABIC method, it is 0.012 cm/cm (0.012 in/in).
- Melt Flow: Tested according to ISO 1133, at a load of 2.16 kg and 230 °C (446 °F), the melt flow is 7.0 g/10 min.
