SABIC 19T1040 Short Glass Modified PP Resin
SABIC 19T1040 is a 40% talc-filled polypropylene (PP) Homopolymer produced by SABIC (Saudi Basic Industries Corporation).
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured using injection – molded samples in accordance with ISO 527 – 1A and ISO 1183 standards, the density is 1.25 g/cc (0.0452 lb/in³).
- Filler Content: Determined by the SABIC method, the filler content is 40 %.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage: Measured on an injection – molded plaque of 65x65x3.2mm by the SABIC method, it is 0.0080 cm/cm (0.0080 in/in).
- Melt Flow: Tested according to ISO 1133, at a load of 2.16 kg and a temperature of 230 °C (446 °F), the melt flow is 18 g/10 min.
