Core Advantages

TNPP-Free Grade

Formulated without tris(nonylphenyl)phosphite, meeting evolving regulatory standards for food-contact applications.

Excellent Processability

Optimized MFR of 2.8 for high-speed cast film extrusion, ensuring stable production and uniform die filling.

Robust Mechanicals

Superior puncture resistance, high tear strength, and excellent elastic recovery for demanding stretch wrap applications.

Superior Optics

Low haze and high gloss properties make it ideal for cling film and applications where product visibility is key.

Primary Applications

High-Performance Stretch Wrap

The ideal choice for hand and pallet stretch wrap. Its high puncture resistance, ultimate elongation, and excellent stress retention ensure load containment and security throughout the supply chain.

Cling & General-Purpose Films

Outstanding clarity and gloss make it perfect for consumer and industrial cling films. Its toughness also suits it for monolayer industrial liners, bags, and as a core layer in coextruded film structures.

Processing Guidelines

Designed for ease of processing on conventional cast film extrusion lines. For optimal results:

  • Melt Temperature: 250 °C to 300 °C. Higher temperatures can reduce melt fracture.
  • Chill Roll Temperature: 20 °C. Rapid quenching is key for excellent optical properties.

Advanced: Blending with LDPE

For enhanced processability, 318BJ can be blended with small amounts (5-20%) of LDPE. This synergistic blend improves melt stability and can increase output rates by introducing strain-hardening behavior, creating a more stable melt curtain.

Note: Blending may involve a trade-off in the film's ultimate mechanical properties. Optimization is key.
