SABIC 3720E is a short glass fiber-reinforced polypropylene (PP) homopolymer from SABIC, specifically designed for injection molding applications.
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured in line with ISO 1183, the density is 1.04 g/cc, which impacts weight and related properties in applications.
- Filler Content: As determined by the SABIC method, the filler content is 20%, enhancing mechanical and processing characteristics.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage: For 65x65x3.2mm injection – molded plaques, the shrinkage is 0.011 cm/cm, crucial for dimensional accuracy.
- Melt Flow: According to ISO 1133, at 230°C with a 2.16 kg load, the melt flow is 18 g/10 min, ensuring good processability.
