SABIC 55T1040 Short Glass Modified PP Resin
SABIC 55T1040 is a talc – filled, heat – stabilized polypropylene (PP) polymer produced by SABIC (Saudi Basic Industries Corporation).
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured from injection – molded samples in accordance with ISO 527 – 1A and ISO 1183, the density is 1.27 g/cc (0.0459 lb/in³).
- Filler Content: Measured by the SABIC method, the filler content is 40 %.
- Melt Flow: Tested as per ISO 1133, at a load of 2.16 kg and 230 °C (446 °F), the melt flow is 3.0 g/10 min.
