INEOS Styrolution 6351 Hot Sale HIPS Resin
INEOS Styrolution 6351 HOT SALE HIPS POLYMER is a high – impact polystyrene (HIPS) polymer produced by INEOS Styrolution.
Physical Properties
- Density: As per ISO 1183, the material has a density of 1.04 g/cm³, which represents its mass per unit volume under standard conditions.
- Shrinkage: Tested via ISO 294, the shrinkage ranges from 0.4–0.7%, indicating the degree of dimensional change during the molding process.
- Water Absorption (23°C Saturation): Specified by ISO 62, the water absorption is 0.07%, demonstrating low moisture absorption suitable for humid environments.
- Melt Index (200°C, 5 kg – Mass Flow): ISO 1133 measures a melt index of 3.5 g/10min, evaluating the material’s mass flow capacity when heated.
- Melt Index (200°C, 5 kg – Volume Flow): ISO 1133 reports a volume flow rate of 3.4 cm³/10min, providing data on volume-based flow for extrusion or injection molding.
- Bulk Density (Without External Lubricant): Determined by an internal method, the bulk density is 0.6 g/cm³, reflecting the material’s loose packing density without additives.
