DUPONT ZYTEL 73G30HSL Hot Sale PA6 Resin

DuPont Zytel 73G30HSL PA6 Resin is a 30% glass fiber-reinforced, heat-stabilized polyamide 6 (PA6) resin designed for injection molding.

Physical Properties

  • Density: Measured using injection-molded samples in accordance with DAM and ISO 1183 standards, the density is 1.36 g/cc (0.0491 lb/in³).
  • Moisture Absorption: Tested at 2.00 mm thickness per DAM and similar to ISO 62, the moisture absorption is 2.10%.
  • Viscosity Number: Determined by ISO 307, 1157, and 1628 standards, the viscosity number is 140 cm³/g (1.40 dl/g).
  • Linear Mold Shrinkage: For injection-molded plaques, the flow shrinkage is 0.0020 cm/cm (0.0020 in/in) and transverse shrinkage is 0.0060 cm/cm (0.0060 in/in) per DAM and ISO 294-4/2577.

Applications:

These applications align with Zytel® 73G30HSL’s high stiffness, strength, and thermal stability, suitable for injection molding or potential 3D printing:

  1. Appliance Housings:
    • Product: Motor housings for blenders or washing machine components.
    • Why Suitable: High stiffness (tensile modulus ~9,000 MPa) and thermal stability (HDT ~200°C) ensure durability under mechanical and thermal stress. Chemical resistance suits exposure to household cleaners.
    • Processing: Injection molding for mass production; 3D printing feasible for prototyping custom housings with industrial printers.
  2. Automotive Battery Cases:
    • Product: Structural battery tray supports for electric vehicles.
    • Why Suitable: High strength (~140–150 MPa) and chemical resistance to electrolytes ensure reliability. Heat stabilization supports under-hood conditions (~120°C).
    • Processing: Injection molding for precise, high-volume parts; 3D printing possible for prototype supports.
  3. Automotive Instrument Panels:
    • Product: Structural frames or mounting brackets for dashboard assemblies.
    • Why Suitable: High stiffness and dimensional stability ensure precise fitment. Heat resistance suits interior thermal loads (~80–100°C).
    • Processing: Injection molding; 3D printing viable for custom brackets.
  4. Automotive Interior Parts:
    • Product: Seat belt anchor brackets, dashboard structural supports.
    • Why Suitable: Stiffness and strength support structural integrity in dynamic environments. Good surface finish (lubricated grades like BK416) allows painted or unpainted use.
    • Processing: Injection molding; 3D printing for prototyping.
  5. Automotive Radiator Tanks:
    • Product: Radiator end tanks for compact vehicles.
    • Why Suitable: Thermal stability (HDT ~200°C) and chemical resistance to coolants ensure longevity in high-heat, corrosive environments.
    • Processing: Injection molding; 3D printing possible for low-volume or custom tanks.
  6. Automotive Trim Panels:
    • Product: Structural bases for interior door trim panels.
    • Why Suitable: High stiffness and surface finish (e.g., BK416 for gloss) support aesthetic and structural requirements. Impact resistance (~10–12 kJ/m²) handles dynamic loads.
    • Processing: Injection molding; 3D printing for prototype bases.
