SABIC 8611A Short Glass Modified PP is a short glass fiber reinforced polypropylene (PP) polymer produced by SABIC (Saudi Basic Industries Corporation).

Physical Properties

  • Density: Measured following ISO 1183, it’s 0.960 g/cc, making it lightweight and suitable for specific applications.
  • Linear Mold Shrinkage: Determined by the SABIC method for 65x65x3.2mm plaques, the shrinkage is 0.0095 cm/cm for precise parts.
  • Melt Flow: Based on ISO 1133, at 230°C under 2.16 kg load, the melt flow of 34 g/10 min aids easy molding.
