SABIC 8620A Short Glass Modified PP Resin
SABIC 8620A Short Glass Modified PP is a short glass fiber reinforced polypropylene (PP) polymer produced by SABIC (Saudi Basic Industries Corporation).
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured using injection – molded samples in accordance with ISO 527 – 1A and ISO 1183 standards, the density is 1.03 g/cc (0.0372 lb/in³).
- Linear Mold Shrinkage: For injection – molded plaques with dimensions of 65x65x3.2mm, the linear mold shrinkage, determined by the SABIC method, is 0.0070 cm/cm (0.0070 in/in).
- Melt Flow: As per ISO 1133 standards, at a temperature of 230 °C (446 °F) under a load of 2.16 kg (4.76 lb), the melt flow rate is 12 g/10 min.
