SABIC 9712 Short Glass Modified PP is a short glass fiber reinforced polypropylene (PP) polymer produced by SABIC (Saudi Basic Industries Corporation).

Physical Properties

  • Density: Measured by ISO 1183, 1.03 g/cc density makes it suitable for various automotive interior applications.
  • Filler Content: As determined by the SABIC method, 15% filler content improves the performance of interior parts.
  • Linear Mold Shrinkage: For 65x65x3.2mm plaques, 0.0043 cm/cm shrinkage ensures the stability of interior components.
  • Melt Flow: According to ISO 1133, at 230°C with 2.16 kg load, 14 g/10 min melt flow aids in processing.
