Physical Properties
- Density: Measured by ISO 1183, the density is 1.22 g/cc (0.0441 lb/in³), related to its glass fiber content.
- Water Absorption: According to ISO 62, the water absorption is 7.5 %, which may affect performance in moist conditions.
- Moisture Absorption at Equilibrium: At 23°C/50% R.H. and following ISO 62, the moisture absorption at equilibrium is 2.4 %, important for long – term stability.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage: The linear mold shrinkage is 0.0050 cm/cm (ASTM Data; MD), a key factor in mold design.
