BASF ULTRAMID B3ZG6 PA6 Resin
BASF Ultramid B3ZG6 is a 30% glass fiber-reinforced Polyamide 6 (PA6) resin,produced by BASF.
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured in accordance with ISO 1183 standards, the density is 1.33 g/cc (0.0480 lb/in³).
- Water Absorption: As per ISO 62 standards, the water absorption ranges from 5.9 – 6.5 %.
- Moisture Absorption at Equilibrium: At 23°C and 50% relative humidity (R.H.), in compliance with ISO 62, the moisture absorption at equilibrium is 1.8 – 2.2 %.
- Viscosity Number: Measured according to ISO 307, the viscosity number is 160 cm³/g (1.60 dl/g).
- Linear Mold Shrinkage: The linear mold shrinkage is 0.0050 cm/cm (0.0050 in/in).
- Melt Flow: As per ISO 1133 standards, at a load of 5.00 kg (11.0 lb) and a temperature of 275 °C (527 °F), the melt flow rate is 33.3 g/10 min.
