SABIC B5822 is a High – Density Polyethylene (HDPE) boasting excellent electrical insulation and abrasion resistance, for electronics, textile and general engineering.
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured following the ASTM D1505 standard, the density of this material is 0.958 g/cc (0.0346 lb/in³), affecting its characteristics.
- Environmental Stress Crack Resistance: Based on the ASTM D1693 standard, it can withstand up to 150 hours, indicating good resistance.
- Melt Flow:According to ISO 1133 at 190 °C (374 °F), it’s 0.30 g/10 min with 2.16 kg (4.76 lb) load, 1.2 g/10 min with 5.00 kg (11.0 lb) load, and 22 g/10 min with 21.6 kg (47.6 lb) load.
