Celanese Zytel E51HSB PA66 Resin
Celanese Zytel E51HSB PA66 is an unreinforced, heat-stabilized, high-molecular-weight polyamide 66 (Nylon 66) resin.
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured using injection-molded samples in accordance with DAM and ISO 1183, the density is 1.14 g/cc (0.0412 lb/in³).
- Melt Density: At a temperature of 295 °C (563 °F), the melt density is 0.980 g/cc (0.0354 lb/in³).
- Water Absorption: At a thickness of 2.00 mm (0.0787 in), water absorption is 8.5% (DAM; sim. to ISO 62).
- Moisture Absorption: At a thickness of 2.00 mm (0.0787 in), moisture absorption is 2.60% (DAM; sim. to ISO 62).
- Viscosity Number: Determined with 90% formic acid per ISO 307, 1157, 1628, the viscosity number is 310 cm³/g (3.10 dl/g).
- Linear Mold Shrinkage: For injection-molded plaques, the linear mold shrinkage (flow/transverse) is 0.013 cm/cm (0.013 in/in) per DAM and ISO 294-4, 2577.
Polymer Properties:
- Base Material: Polyamide 66 (PA66)
- Modification Features:
