DUPONT ZYTEL EFE1068 PA66 Resin
DuPont Zytel EFE1068 is an unreinforced polyamide 66 (PA66) offering balanced mechanical properties for general-purpose industrial and automotive uses.
Physical Properties
- Density: Tested via DAM and ISO 1183 with injection-molded samples; density is 1.14 g/cc (0.0412 lb/in³) for this unreinforced PA66.
- Melt Density: At ≥263 °C (505 °F), melt density measures 0.950 g/cc (0.0343 lb/in³), suitable for processing applications.
- Water Absorption: At 2.00 mm (0.0787 in) thickness, water absorption is 8.5%, following DAM and ISO 62 methodology.
- Moisture Absorption: For 2.00 mm (0.0787 in) samples, moisture absorption is 2.80%, per DAM and similar to ISO 62 standards.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage: Both flow and transverse directions show 0.015 cm/cm (0.015 in/in) per DAM and ISO 294-4, 2577 for injection molding.
