Envalior Akulon F160-Z PA6 Resin
Envalior Akulon F160-Z is a high-performance polyamide 6 (PA6, also known as Nylon 6) grade characterized by its very high viscosity, lubrication, and food contact compliance.
Physical Properties
- Density: In dry condition per ISO 1183 for very high viscosity use, the density is 1.13 g/cc (0.0408 lb/in³).
- Water Absorption: Simulating ISO 62, water absorption for high-viscosity PA6 is 9.5%.
- Moisture Absorption: Under simulated ISO 62, equilibrium moisture absorption is 2.50%.
- Viscosity Number: As per ISO 307, 1157, and 1628, the viscosity number is 450 cm³/g (4.50 dl/g).
