Bayblend® FR3010 IF
An advanced flame-retardant PC/ABS blend engineered for safety and performance in modern applications.
Product Overview
Bayblend® FR3010 IF is a premium flame-retardant, injection-molding grade material that combines the best properties of polycarbonate (PC) and acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS).
This specific grade is distinguished by its non-halogenated flame retardant system, making it an environmentally-conscious and safer alternative. The "IF" designation highlights its suitability for thin-wall applications, ensuring it meets rigorous flammability standards even at low wall thicknesses.

Processing Guidelines
- Drying: The material is hygroscopic and must be dried at 80-90°C for 2-4 hours. Max moisture content should be 0.04%.
- Melt Temperature: A range of 240-260°C is recommended for optimal molding.
- Mold Temperature: Maintain the mold at 60-80°C to achieve the best surface finish.
- Injection Speed: Use a medium to fast speed to avoid flow marks.
- Holding Pressure: Keep holding pressure at 50-70% of the injection pressure.
Safety & Handling
For detailed safety information, please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). It is essential to handle the material in a well-ventilated area and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Avoid prolonged exposure to melt fumes to ensure safety.
