Celanese Zytel FR7026V0F PA66 Resin
Celanese Zytel FR7026V0F PA66 is an unreinforced, flame-retardant, heat-stabilized polyamide 66 (Nylon 66) resin.
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured using injection-molded samples in accordance with DAM and ISO 1183, the density is 1.16 g/cc (0.0419 lb/in³).
- Melt Density: At a temperature of 280 °C (536 °F), the melt density is 1.03 g/cc (0.0372 lb/in³).
- Water Absorption: At 2.00 mm thickness, water absorption is 8.0% (DAM, sim. ISO 62); after 24h immersion, it’s 1.8% (same standards).
- Moisture Absorption: At 2.00 mm (0.0787 in) thickness, moisture absorption is 2.50% (DAM; sim. to ISO 62).
- Viscosity Number: Determined by DAM and ISO 307, 1157, 1628, the viscosity number is 160 cm³/g (1.60 dl/g).
- Linear Mold Shrinkage: Per DAM/ISO 294-4/2577, injection-molded plaques have 0.0090 cm/cm (flow) and 0.010 cm/cm (transverse) linear mold shrinkage.
