DUPONT ZYTEL FR70G25V0 PA66 Resin
DuPont Zytel FR70G25V0 is a 25% glass fiber reinforced, flame-retardant polyamide 66 (PA66) made by DuPont.
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured by DAM and ISO 1183 for 25% glass-reinforced, flame-retardant PA66; density is 1.53 g/cc (0.0553 lb/in³).
- Melt Density: At ≥260 °C (500 °F), melt density is 1.35 g/cc (0.0488 lb/in³), suitable for flame-retardant molding.
- Water Absorption: At 2.00 mm (0.0787 in) thickness, water absorption is 3.4%, per DAM and ISO 62 for reinforced FR grades.
- Moisture Absorption: For 2.00 mm (0.0787 in) samples, moisture absorption is 0.900%, following DAM and ISO 62 standards.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage, Flow: Flow direction shrinkage is 0.0020 cm/cm (0.0020 in/in) per DAM and ISO 294-4, 2577.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage, Transverse: Transverse shrinkage is 0.010 cm/cm (0.010 in/in), determined for glass-reinforced parts.
