Borealis FT6230 is a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) resin specifically designed for high-speed extrusion coating and lamination applications.

Physical Properties

  • Density: Measured using the ISO 1183 – 1 standard, the density is 0.923 g/cc (0.0333 lb/in³).
  • Melt Flow: As per ISO 1133 – 1 standards, at a load of 2.16 kg (4.76 lb) and a temperature of 190 °C (374 °F), the melt flow rate is 2.00 g/10 min.
  • Storage Temperature: The recommended storage temperature is ≤ 50.0 °C (≤ 122 °F).
