BASF Ultraform H2320 006 Q600 POM Resin

BASF Ultraform H2320 006 Q600 is a high-molecular-weight polyoxymethylene (POM) copolymer grade designed for injection molding.

Physical Properties

  • Density: Measured in accordance with ISO 1183 standard, the density is 1.40 g/cc (0.0506 lb/in³).
  • Water Absorption: As per ISO 62 standard, the water absorption is 0.80 %. 
  • Moisture Absorption at Equilibrium: At 23°C and 50% relative humidity (RH), following ISO 62, the moisture absorption at equilibrium is 0.20 %. 
  • Linear Mold Shrinkage: As per ASTM data (MD), it is 0.020 cm/cm (0.020 in/in). ISO data shows that the shrinkage in flow and transverse directions is 0.021 cm/cm (0.021 in/in).
  • Melt Flow: Tested according to ISO 1133 standard, at a temperature of 190 °C (374 °F) under a load of 2.16 kg (4.76 lb), the melt flow rate is 2.9 g/10 min.
