ExxonMobil HD 9856B is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resin designed for use in demanding applications that require a balance of high stiffness and impact resistance.

- Density: Measured in accordance with ASTM D4883 using standard procedures, the density is 0.957 g/cc (0.0346 lb/in³), reflecting material compactness and rigidity.
- ESCR 100% Igepal®: Tested per ASTM D1693, the environmental stress-crack resistance is ≥1000 hours, indicating high durability under prolonged stress conditions.
- Melt Flow: As per ASTM D1238, at a temperature of 190°C (374°F) under a load of 2.16 kg (4.76 lb), the melt flow rate is 0.46 g/10 min.
