SABIC LEXAN HF4010SR PC Resin
SABIC’s LEXAN™ HF4010SR is a specialized polycarbonate (PC) resin that combines high flowability with a unique scratch-resistant surface.
Physical Properties
- Density: In line with ISO 1183 standards, the material’s density is precisely measured at 1.20 g/cc, equivalent to 0.0434 lb/in³.
- Moisture Absorption: Tested at 23°C and 50% relative humidity following ISO 62, the material shows a moisture absorption of 0.110 %.
- Linear Mold Shrinkage, Flow: Using the SABIC method, the linear mold shrinkage in the flow direction is 0.0050 – 0.0070 cm/cm (0.0050 – 0.0070 in/in).
- Melt Flow: As per ISO 1133, under a 1.20 kg (2.65 lb) load at 300 °C (572 °F), the melt flow rate is 40 g/10 min.
