Applications:
The unique combination of high heat resistance, stiffness, and good impact strength makes INEOS Styrolution Novodur® HH-112 ideal for demanding applications, particularly in industries where components are subjected to elevated temperatures:
- Automotive Components: This is a key application area. HH-112 is widely used for automotive rear lamp housings, glove box caps, and other automotive interior parts that might experience heat from sunlight exposure or internal vehicle operation. Its rigidity helps maintain dimensional stability in these environments.
- Electrical & Electronic Devices: For housings for electrical and electronic devices where internal heat generation or external environmental temperatures are a concern. This includes components in consumer electronics, telecommunications equipment, and industrial controls that require both structural integrity and thermal performance.
- Appliance Components: Specific parts within appliances that generate heat or are in close proximity to heating elements can benefit from HH-112’s properties, providing durability and safety.
