SABIC HP20023 LDPE Resin
SABIC HP20023 is an additive-free low density polyethylene (LDPE) grade with high melt flow produced by SABIC (Saudi Basic Industries Corporation).
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured per ASTM D1505, the density is 0.923 g/cc (0.0333 lb/in³), defining material lightness and suitability for flexible applications.
- ESCR 100% Igepal®: Per ASTM D1693B (F50), environmental stress-crack resistance is 6.0 hours, indicating durability under high-concentration stress conditions.
- ESCR 10% Igepal®: At 10% concentration per ASTM D1693B (F50), ESCR is 2.0 hours, reflecting performance under moderate stress exposure.
- Melt Flow: As per ASTM D1238, the melt flow rate is 20 g/10 min at 190°C (374°F) under 2.16 kg (4.76 lb), ideal for high-fluidity extrusion or molding processes.
