LOTTE J-580S Hot Sale PP Resin

LOTTE J-580S is a polypropylene (PP) homopolymer resin designed to deliver a balanced combination of high stiffness, excellent impact resistance, and good processability.

Physical Properties

  • Density:Measured at 0.900 g/cc (0.0325 lb/in³) per ASTM D792. Low density offers good mass – strength balance, ideal for lightweight products.
  • Melt Flow:At 230°C (446°F) under 2.16 kg (4.76 lb), melt flow is 36.0 g/10 min per ASTM D1238. High flow enables efficient injection – molding of complex parts.

Applications:

  • Automotive Components:
    • LOTTE J-580S: Is well suited for automotive interior parts such as trim panels, dashboard components, and housings where a balance of stiffness and impact resistance is essential.
    • Its moderate HDT supports use in environments with exposure to moderate heat, such as under the dashboard or door trims.
  • Appliance Housings:
    • Has good processability and mechanical strength, making it a strong candidate for manufacturing durable appliance housings, including vacuum cleaner casings, hairdryer shells, and small kitchen appliance enclosures.
  • Caps and Closures:
    • With its good flow and toughness, is used in producing caps, closures, and flexible lids that require reliable snap-fit performance and consistent dimensional accuracy.
