ExxonMobil LD 202.48 LDPE Resin
ExxonMobil™ LD 202.48 is a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) resin specifically designed for general-purpose blown film applications.
Physical Properties
- Density: Measured by ExxonMobil Method, the density is 0.915 g/cc (0.0331 lb/in³), designed for high-speed lightweight extrusion coating to reduce material consumption.
- Melt Flow:Per ASTM D1238, MFR is 12 g/10 min at 2.16 kg load and 190 °C; high melt index boosts coating efficiency on non-woven substrates.
- Neck In:
- As per ExxonMobil Method, at a constant output of 35 rpm and speed of 164 ft/min (50 m/min), the neck in measures 4.10 cm (1.61 in);
- As per ExxonMobil Method, the neck in measures 3.60 cm (1.42 in).
- Drawdown: At constant output at 35 rpm (ExxonMobil Method), the drawdown is 4.00 m/s (787 ft/min).
Polymer Properties:
- Base Material: Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE)
